The Clara Berry Library
Frederick High School

Vision: Creating an environment committed to the development of the total child.

The Frederick High School Library.
The Frederick High School Library is named for Gilbert and Clara Berry. Mrs. Berry funded the construction of the library and computer lab with a generous gift to the school district in memory of her husband, who died in November 1985. Mr. Berry was a banker and bookkeeper in Frederick for more than 50 years. Mrs. Berry was a former teacher. The Berrys' gift also established the Frederick School Enrichment Foundation, a trust fund to which individuals can contribute for other projects to benefit Frederick's students. The library was completed in 1990.
