Frederick Elementary is hosting an Artist in Residence! - Innovation!

American Farmers & Ranchers sponsors an annual Youth Poster Contest with the theme of All of the posters were very creative and excellent.  There is a first, second and third place winner from all grade levels; each winner will receive a gift certificate to Subway.

Frederick Elementary 4th Grade Musical! - Cooperation!
The Frederick Elementary 4th Grade presented the musical Santa's Holiday Playlist, Tues., Dec. 8th. Santas soldiers helped singing - Just a Little R and R. Santas reindeers helped singing - A Real Live Country Christmas. Santas elves helped singing - Merry Christmas in the Motor City. Snowflakes helped by singing - Broadway Lights!


Frederick Elementary 3rd grade are Pen Pals! - Integrity!
Frederick Elementary 3rd grade are pen pals.  Students in Mrs. Treadwell's and Mrs. Bobo's classes are writing to Mrs. Scott's son-in-law, Sgt. A.J. Mauric, who is in Iraq for his 5th tour-of-duty.


Frederick High School and Elementary School receive donations from the Eta Gamma Sorority - ACT tests - Backpack program - Stockings! - Relationships!
These funds will be used to help students who are not able to pay the fee to take the ACT test. These funds will be used to purchase stocking stuffers that will be given to the Elementary students before Chirstmas break.

Frederick Elementary hosted a Veterans Day Ceremony! - Integrity! Boys Scout Troop 220 presented the colors for both ceremonies. Veteran, Dr. Howard spoke to the assmebly. Frederick Elementary learn to about GERMS! - Communication!
The Frederick Elementary Prather Brown students learned how to wash their hands so that Mr. Glow Germ couldn't detect any germs. Students were told how germs can be anywhere and how they can get transferred as easily as opening a door. Each student washed their hands with soap for at least 20 seconds before rinsing and then learned to use the paper towel to turn the water off and to use the towel to open the door. This was a very important lesson for students to learn at this time of the year and was provided by the Tillman County Health Department, April Combs.
